A great day! A nice ceremony! The high school graduate looked smart and handsome! His grandparents looked pretty good too. We were all pleased with David’s accomplishments, especially the fact that he was inducted into the National Technology Honor Society (the white and purple roping around his shoulders) based on his work and leadership with the computer club and other related activities. After the ceremony we celebrated at his favorite sushi restaurant.

He is the first of my seven grandchildren to graduate from high school. I will look forward to the other six, the last of whom will graduate sixteen years from now. God willing, I will be around.
